Dutch MotoGP: Alex Marquez P14; 'was a long race, I didn't enjoy it'

Alex Marquez secured his fifth ꦯpoints scori♛ng finish from nine MotoGP races this season, after taking the checkered flag in P14 at Assen.
The former 20🐠19 Moto2 world champion gaꦜined one place at the start from P15, but that was as far as the progress went for Marquez.
There were several i✤ncidents that happened ahead of Marquez which ultimately contributed to the Spaniard’s points finish as Jack Miller crashed late on from sixth, while Valentino Rossi and Jorge Martin also went down whilst ahead.
For Marquez and pretty much every Honda rider, the first half of th꧟is seaso🌊n has been one plagued by many crashes. So, with that in mind, the summer break might be coming at the perfect time for Marquez.
Follow🐭ing yesterday’s race, Marquez said: "I’m sad about the race today, I struggled a lot and diꦯdn’t enjoy it. It was a long race for me physically.
"When you don’t have the bike in hand and it’s not stable it’s very difficult. We made s𒈔ome changes in the warm-up that were maybe not the best solution, but in the warm-up I felt a bit better.
"The first time here on a MotoGP ༺bike at Asseꦅn is difficult and maybe this is not the best track for our bike.
"Now, we have the summer𝐆 break and it will be goo⭕d for me and the team to rest, recharge the batteries and come up with an action plan to improve in the second part of the season. We’ll be ready."
