Kerry Earnhardt, elder bro𓃲ther of current NASCAR Nextel Cup points leader Dale E🍰arnhardt Jr, will attempt to qualify for Sunday's DHL 400 at the Michigan International Speedway in a fourth Chevrolet Monte Carlo entered by Richard Childress Racing.

As Childress looks to find stability with the #30 AOL tea💃m and tries to find a way to make his entire stable equally competitive, he has added Earnhardt and the #33 Bass Pro Shops Chevy to his arsenal for this weekend's trip to the Irish Hills.

After two outings blighted by crashes so far in 2004, the K. Earnhardt/RCR combo are looking for better fortunes this weekend at the track where Earnhardt made his NASCAR Winston Cup debu💦t for Dave Marcis' #71 team in 2000.

Earnhardt's inaugural race in the #33 Chev🔯rolet was at Talladega Superspeedway in April where he was running just outside the top 10 when his da๊y ended prematurely after a tap from another machine. He also competed in the NASCAR All-Star Open where he, again, was wrecked by another car when he was in a position to get voted into the All-Star Challenge itself courtesy of topping the fan vote.
