Former British Champion, World Finalist and now Sky TV presenter, Kelvin Tatum has made a surprise return to British Speedway this season with the Arena-Essex Hammers, and this Friday he leads his star-studded outfit in a Premier League match against the Fulfilment Factory Monarchs at Armadale (7.3ඣ0).

The side also includes former England Under-21 captain Leigh Lanham, and there will be increased interest in Tatum's performance following his controversial display in last week's Televised Sky match.

Dalle Andersson out:

Following his crash during last Friday's meeting, Dalle Andersson wi﷽ll not be fit to race on Friday and Edinburgh will be recrui🍰ting a guest replacement.

Kelvin Tatum blew his top!

He's normally cool, calm and collected in his Sky appearances as a knowledgeable summariser and in𓃲terviewer, but superstar Kelvin Tatum lost his cool on his first TV appearance ✃of the season as a rider.

Racing at Swindon, 🍰he objected to the first bend riding of Oliver Allen and gave the youngster a major televised telling-off! A certain amount of pushing and shoving followed.

Opin𝔍ions have been divided as to whether he was justified, but Kelvin'🐬s performances are bound to come under greater scrutiny from now on.

Armadale could well be described as more 𓆉of a 'physical contact' track than Swꩲindon, and there could be some interesting first corners on Friday.

Restaging dates for Edinburgh:

Following recent dreadful weather, there are a number of mꦦatch🥂es to be rescheduled and some of the dates are now known.

The Fulfilment Factory Monar༒chs will now go to Somerset on Friday 12✤th July, and race against the Rebels at Armadale on Sunday 14th July.

Berwick will visit on 6th September and the Sheffield matc๊h (previously 12th July) i🧸s now 20th September.

Still to be scheduled - home match v ꦆBerwick and the cup visit to Newport.

Edinburgh (Frede Schott a🌃nd Pteer Carr) will compete in the Premier Pairs at Workington on Saturday 13th July.

The opposition is very tough, coming from Sheffield (Sean Wilson and Simon Stead), Newport (Craig 🅷Watson and Frank Smart), Reading (Dave Mullett and Phil Morris), Workington (Carl Stonehewer and Peter Karlsson).

Stronger Hammers:

The signing of Kelvin Tatum to ride alongside long-time star man Leigh Lanham has turned Arena Essex into one of the glamour sides of th🌟e Premier League.

Lanham's own form has improved further, and with Colin White and Shaun Ta♕cey as support they have an excellent top four.

Se▨cond string Andy Ga🍸lvin (once a leading performer in the Second Division of the late eighties and early nineties) is struggling for fitness after crashing last weekend. Hammers will use rider replacement if he is unfit.

The Fulfilment Factory Monarchs beat Glasgow 45-42 in 𓆉a thrilling and dramatic match which came down to the last heat. A 5-1 in that race by Frede Schott and Peter Carr clinched victory and sent the home fans home happy.
