Former British Champion, World Finalist and now Sky TV presenter, Kelvin Tatum has made a surprise retu🍨rn to British Speedway this season with the Arena-Essex Hammers, and this Friday he leads his star-studdedꦗ outfit in a Premier League match against the Fulfilment Factory Monarchs at Armadale (7.30).

The side also includes former England Under-21 captain Leigh Lanham, and there will be increased interest in Tatum's performance following his controversial display in last week's Televised Sky match.

Dalle Andersson out:

Following his crash during last Friday's meeting, Dalle Andersson will ဣnot be fit to race on Friday and Edinburgh will be recruiting a guest replacement.

Kelvin Tatum blew his top!

He's normally cool, calm and collected in his Sky appearances as a knowledgeable summariser and interviewer, but superstar Kelvin Tatum los🧔t his cool on his first TV appearance of the season as a rider.

Racing at Swindon, he objected to the first bend riding of Oliver Allen and gave the youngster a major televised telling-off! A certain amount of pushing and shovin🐟g followed.

Opinions have been divided as to whether he was justified, but Kelvin's performances are bound ꧋to come under greater scrutiny from now on.

Armadale could well be describꩵed as more of a 'physical contact' track than Swindon, and there could be some interesting first corners on Friday.

Restaging dates for Edinburgh:

Following recent 🥀dreadful weather, there are a number of matches to be rescheduled and some of the dates are now known.

The Fulfilment Factory Monarchs will now go to Somerset on Friday 12th July, and race against the Rebꦫels at Armad🐼ale on Sunday 14th July.

Berwick will visit on 6th September and the Sh𒊎effield match (previous𓄧ly 12th July) is now 20th September.

Still to be scheduled - home ma💦tch v Berwick and the cup visit to Newport.

Stronger Hammers:

The signing൲ of Kelvin Tatum to ride alongside long-time star man Leigh Lanham has turned Arena Essex into on🅠e of the glamour sides of the Premier League.

Lanham's own form has improved further, and with Colin W𝓰hite and Shaun Tacey as support they have an excellent top four.

Second string Andy Galvin (once a leading performer in the Second Division of the late eighties and early⛄ nineties) is struggling for fitness after crashing last weekend. Hammers will use rider replacement if he is unfit.

The Fulfilment Factory Monarchs beat Glasgow 45-42 in a thrilling and dramatic match which came down to t🦄he last heat. A 5-1 in that race by Frede Schott and Peter Carr clinched victory and sent the home fans home happy.
