After a spate of rollovers in recent outings, including two in the last two rounds, Jones' crew decided to ensure that his sponsors get value for money from all angles. After some intensive redesigning in th🏅e workshop, the team boss was given a sneak preview of the new livery which will debut at this weekend's fourth round.
"The team called me into the workshop yesterday and told me they had a surprise for me - I should have known they would sඣo something like this!" Jones smiled after seeing the 'special gift' they had prepared for him.
The nine-time Australian champꩵ had to re-adjust his eyes to make sure all the sponsors 𒅌were in place for the crew had completely turned the livery upside down!
"We've had plenty of people tell us that we should sign-write the bottom of the car, but I guess this way yo🙈u can see the signs when I've got four wheels pointing downwards," Jones laughed.
The idea was the brainchild 🌼of team manager Kim Jones, who says he will take any chance to keep his sponsors happy, especiall🍸y new naming rights partner BOC.
"Well, we hav🐽e to look after our൩ partners," he grinned, "Now you can see all of our sponsors logos from every angle - and if Brad ends up on his roof again, we're covered.
"But he better not! The crew have worked unbelievably hard in the past few weeks༺, fixing the car from the damage of the two rollovers, so hopefully the livery will act as some sort of deterrent."
Team BOC remains undecided whether the #21 Falcon will a🐟ctually run with the newly adapted livery this 💃weekend, although Jones suggests it is a possibility.
"We have the blessing of our sponsors, so we'll see how things p🍃an out," the team manager added, "You may just see an upside down Team BOC Falcon going around Eastern Creek."
