Colin M൩cRae's co-driver, Nicky Grist has▨ said that there is 'no solution' to issue that led to Michael Park losing his life on the Rally GB.

Speaking to British newspaper, The Guardian, Grist, who was a close friend of Park, added that unfortunately in a side-impact, like the one that claimed the life of Park Sunday, then fatalities can and u🅰nfortunately will happen on some occasions.

"Short of building a Chieftain tank, there is no re🍨al solution to this problem,"🃏 he told the broadsheet 'paper. "The side is the most vulnerable part of any car, whether it's a road car or a rally car. When you are sliding towards a tree at that speed, there's little you can do."

As for the fact the c🤪o-drivers' are sometimes said to be more vulnerable than the drivers', Grist disagreed, adding that, in this case at least, it was just 'fate'.

"What happened is not really an issue about co-driver safety [in my view]," he continued. "It could just as easily have happened to the d♛river, had it been a right, rather than a left-hand bend.

"It's just a horrible twist oཧf fate. You could have that accident 200 times, but if you hit it in the wrong place on the 💯201st time, then you will get hurt.

"We lﷺove the sport but we all accept the risks involved."
