Villeneuve happy after Sauber test debut.
Jacques Villeneuv👍e made his debut for Team Sauber-Petronas today [Friday], as the Swiss outfit completed a three-day test at the Circuit de Catalunya.
The Canadian, who 𝄹took over from team-mate Felipe Massa, covered 97 laps in chassis C23-02 to set a best time of 1 minute 15.219 seconds, just two tenths slower than Ricardo Zonta, who was fastest overall.
The 1997 F1 worꦆld champion was pleased with ♉his efforts.

"My first day of testing with Sauber Petronas went really well," he commented. "I𓂃 had spent enough time in the factory for the seat fitting, so I felt immediately comfortable in the car.
"I did a lot of laps today and the times were gooꦦd. In addition, the car ran absolutely reliable, we had no technicaಌl problems whatsoever. So it was really a very productive first day.
"We workꦏed on the set-up mainly to further adapt the C23 to the Michelin tyres. We have a good basis and I am confident that we ⛦can continue this work in a positive way during our next test in Jerez."
Sauber will test at Jerez from December 1-3.
