Mercedes remains “vigilant” heading into the German Grand Prix according to Formula 1 team boಌss Toto Wolff, with hot tem🎃peratures forecast throughout the weekend.

Temperatures could reach as high as 40c this weekend in Hockenheim, with hot weather proving Mercedes’ Achilles’ Heel so far this sꦰeason. Having won the opening eight events of 2019, the German manufacturer struggled amid unusually high temperatures dur🤪ing the Austrian Grand Prix and suffered its first defeat of the year. There is also the possibility for thunderstorms and showers on Saturday and Sunday.

Mercedes, which is celebrating its home race and the anniversary of 125 years of motorsport with a 168澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果历史:special one-off livery, later revealed a lack of radiator openings on its W10 car had resulted in the overheating issues it faced, and admitted it had sacrificed additional cooling in the𝕴 pursuit for aerodynamic performance with its latest challenger - which has won nine of the 10 races this campaign.

“While there is much happening off track, our primary focus remains our on-track per🍒formance,” Wolff s🐻aid.

“The weather forec🔯ast predicts high temperatꦑures, which were extremely challenging for us in Austria, so we must stay vigilant.

“Like Spielberg, Hockenheim is also a relatively short circui💙t, which w🐭ill close the gaps between different teams.

“We will st💞ay humble and work hard to achieve the best possible re🦹sult.”

Speaking at the British Grand Prix, Valtteri Bottas said the team would have an update 𝓡in place in time for the next hot race to try and combat the issues it encountered, though the team is yet to confirm whether this is ready for the upcoming race in Germany.

“Th🦩at’s always been one of the strong points of the team, that when♋ we see a clear weakness or a think we can definitively do better, normally things happen pretty rapidly,” Bottas explained.

“It’s been the same case again, with all the meetings and analysis from the last races and I was happy to hear than on the ne🍸xt hot race we’re going to have an update and improvement for our cooling efficiency.

“Hopefully that will make difference enough but there💃 are definitively more steps to do but the ball is rolling.”

ꦫMercedes has won the last three German GP's held at Hockenheim, with Lewis Hamilton looking to claim his his thiꦜrd straight victory in Germany after triumphing in 2016 and 2018.
