Marc Marquez wins the Aragon Grand Prix

It's ꦑvictory for Marc Marquez i🅘n the Aragon MotoGP, perfectly managed race from the championship leader.

Alex Marquez holds onto second ahead of Bagnaia despite that late push, but it's a first podiওum since Spain for 𝓡Bagnaia in third place.

Acostafourth, and Morbidelli retains that fifth spot over 💎Alde🤡guer.

13:42

Co💝mbat recommenced between Aldeguer and Morbidelli. A bit of contact out of turn 15, but Morbidelli holds on for noꦉw.

13:41
Lap 21/23

Bagnaia trying t♏o get closer to Alex Marquez, gap down to 0.8s over the line.

Another fastest lap of the race on that lap from 🐼Marc M🐷arquez, 1:46.7.

13:39
Lap 20/23

3 to go now, and Marc𝐆 Marquez remains 2s clear of Alex Marqueꦐz, who still has a second back to Bagnaia.

Acosta now cut well adrift in fourth, 🧸over three secondsꦍ behind the leading Ducatis now.

Maverick Vinales crashed out that lap at turn 12.

13:37

Bezzecchi just passed Di Giannantonio for ninth.

13:36
Lap 19/23

Alex Marquez extends 🔥his advantage to over a second now🍎 over Bagnaia.

13:35
Morbidelli vs Aldeguer

Nice battle between Morbidelliಌ and Aldeguer for fifth. Morbidelli hangs on for no🦄w but a few exchanges there at turn 12, 13, and 15. Closest battle on track at the moment between the two GP24s.

13:34
Lap 17/23

Bagnaia now 0.7s behin🧜d Marquez. He's still faster than Acosta, but a top-two finish ꦺis getting away from him slightly now.

13:31
Lap 15/23

2s beᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚtwe🌳en the Marquezes, Bagnaia half-a-second further back from Alex Marquez. 1.5s back then to Acosta.

Further back, it's Morbidelli in a distant fifth, ahead of Alde𝓀guer.

Fabio Di Giannantonio's just been passed by Joan Mir, and is about to be passed𒆙 by Maverick Vinales for eighth.

Marco Bezzecchi has only managed to get to 10th so far, still not bad from 20th on the grid but rather confirms the extent of his charge yesterday was amplified by his choice of th🔴e medium-compound rear tyre.

13:29
Lap 14/23

Still nothing changing at the front.

Just thinking about it, apart from a few failed attempts from Acosta to pass Bagnaia ea🎶rlier on, where he'd out-brake on the inside and run wide on 🥀the exit, there hasn't been a single pass in the top-five since Morbidelli made his mistake on lap three.

13:26
Lap 13/23

Still around two seconds between the Marquez brothers, a few tenths behind Alex to Bagnaia. Acosta just dr✃opping off slightly 🥃at the moment but not too far yet.

13:25
Quartararo OUT

Fabio Quartararo has crashed at turn one.

13:23

Binder has crashed out a😼t turn three. He's up and okay.

13:23
Lap 11/23

Almꦡost two seconds now for Marc Marquez, who sets another new fastest lap of the race - int💟o the 1:46s.

13:21
Lap 10/23

Bagnaia still pressuring Marquez for second but he's not fast enoღugh in the right areas t🏅o be close enough to make a pass - he loses a lot in corners like turn 10, and the final double left, where he doesn't seem to have the same turning capacity as Marquez.

13:19
Lap 9/23

1.5s for Marc Marquez now. Alex Marquez holding Bagnaia off for t♕he moment.

Johann Zarco has crashed.

13:17
Lap 8/23

Over a second now for Marc Marquez and Bagn🌟aia getting ever ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚcloser now to Alex Marquez.

13:16
Lap 7/23

Over 0.750s for Marc🅠 Marquez at the front now, fastest lap from him.

Alex Marquez still has B🃏agnaia൲ and the KTMs for company.

This long running so close, you have to wonder abo𝄹ut tyre temperatures for the likes of ✤Bagnaia, Acosta, and Binder.

13:14
Lap 6/23

Fastest lap of the race from Binder that time. Top five almost all together now, although the gap between Alex Marquez and Bagnaia🏅 increased a bit.

13:12
Lap 5/23

Acosta ran wide at turn one on that lap, and the space behind Bagnaia that created seems to have given him space to push back towards Alex Mar📖quez - that gap down to half-a-second now.

13:10
Lap 4/23

No change in the first positions that time but Morbidelli ღhas lost a lot of time to Binder after his mistake. Miller spoke yesterday of how running wide makes your tyres so dirty for a few corners after the initial mistake, so that could possib🍃ly be Morbidelli's issue there.

13:09

Binder's got ♊back ahead of Morbidelli at turn five.
