Ahead of the winter MotoGP testing ban, a private test is being held alongside the leading Worl൩d Superbike teams at Jerezk.

The Suzuki, KTM and Aprilia factory MotoGP teams are p🦩resent ♈at the Spanish circuit, plus satellite riders from Honda and Ducati.

The factory Ducati team is not taking part, since new signing Jorge Lorenzo was only given permission from Yaꦯmaha for the Valencia test. For the same reason, Pol Espargaro is unable to test for KTM - but is 🗹present to watch from trackside.

Alex ♍Rins (Suzuki) is missing the test due to injuries at Valencia, while team-mate Andrea Iannone only rode on﷽ Wednesday.

Repsol Honda originally planned to attend, but have since changed their minds, while Movistar Yama🀅ha and Monster Yamaha Tech 3 have c🐲hosen Sepang in Malaysia for their private test.

The winter test ban then begins on December 1 and runs until the official Sepan𒅌g test starts at the end of January.

Testing at Jerez concludes on Friday evening, although not all riders are expected to return for the final day, preferring to save their limited private tes🐷ting for 2017.

Thursday saw World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea lead the timesheets with a 1m 38.721s, which is quicker than Valent🌳ino Roꦓssi's pole time at this year's MotoGP.
