Andrea Iannone and Jorge Lorenzo collide in Catalunya MotoGP
This was the incident that sent ✨Andrea Iannone and Jorge Lorenzo out of Sunday's Catalunya MotoGP.
Yamaha rider Lorenzo, who was dropping through the field after holding the early lead, was rammed by Iannone aft𝄹er the Ducati star made a mistake under braking.
Iannone is set ♋to be punished with a last place start for the next event at Assen, while Lorenzo is now 10-points behind Marc Marquez in the world champio⭕nship standings.
Fortunately, both riders were unhurt.
