Kare🥂ℱl Abraham has confirmed some early contact with KTM, which will enter MotoGP in 2017.

Ru𝔍mours suggest Abraham may be in the frame for a test and development role next season in a tie-up that could also include use of the Brno circuit, owned by Abraham's father.

"It is true that we met with some people from KTM, but I think it's ෴too early to talk about anything because there is nothing fixed, nothing set, at the moment," Abraham said.

Abraham is returning to MotoGP act🅘ion for his home Czech round this week꧋end, having been sidelined since surgery for foot injuries at Catalunya in June

"It's been one and a half maybe two months since I had the crash in Barcelona. I'm definitely feeling much better," he said. "At the moment I thought I'd be feeling a lot better. I need to use crutches and sti🍸ll have some problems to fit into the boot. I cannot really fit in so I'm using one size bigger. It's still very painful to get into the boot. Anyway these are the conditions right now and we're trying to be able to ride.

"I did try to ride a bike a𒐪 couple of days ago on the street without the boot. I was unable to put the boot on so I was just with the sneakers. I have to admit it was quite painful. But nothing impossible to ride. I'm expecting this weekend to be really hard every time I take off and put on the boot. Even to ride to shift up and down but I know about that problem and now I must try it and see if the pain is possible to ride or not. I'm almost 100 percent sure th🗹at I will."

Ridi💮ng the only Open class Honda with Showa suspension and Nissin brakes for the ꧟family-owned AB Motoracing team, Abraham had been unable to claim a point during his six race starts this season.
