WSS: Kieran Clarke targets rostrum on racing comeback

Nottingham's Kieran Clarke will return to the World Supersport Championship in 2015 after🐎 signing for the PTR-run CIA Landlords Insurance Honda team.
Clarke previously rode for PTRꦉ In 2012 and picked up points finishes at Monza in Italy before narrowly missing out on t𝓰he top 15 at his home race at Donington Park.
Clarke, though, is hoping to challenge for podium finishes this season, even though he is adopting a 'one step at a time' philosophy on his retꩲurn to the sport.
"Coming back to PTR feels a bit like D?j? vu but now it is CIA Landlords Insurance Honda. This was༺ my first and only choice to return to racing, I was not prepared to compromise with competitiᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚveness at all, I would have preferred to stay out of racing entirely," said the 29-year-old.
"I have complete faith in the team and set up to deliver me a competitive race bike. ꦗMy ambitions are to run at the front of the Championship and fight for the podium.
"Saying that, my realistic short-term goal is to take it o🦋ne step at a time; I am under no illusion how har𝓡d it will be," he added.
"I have raced for two decades and in the last two years I ha🌠ve been doing stunt work and coaching. I have probably worked more on my riding skills in the last two years than ever as a result. I can't wait to get racing."
CIA Landlords Insurance Honda team manager Simon Buck🐲master added: "It's great to have Kieran back in the team and we are looking forward to seeing w𒁃hat he can achieve with a full season on a competitive bike.
"We have high hopes, but t𒊎hey are also realistic and he is one of the easiest and best people to work with🅰, so we can't wait to get started."
