Simone Corsi has undergone surgery to plate🍎 a broken left arm sustained in Sunday's British Moto2 Grand Prix.

The NGM Forward Racing rider suffered 🍃the injury after being collected by Jonas Folger.

During the surgery, 📖that lasted more than 4 hours, doctors also repaired injuries to the extensor tendons of his wrist.

Corsi's recovery time is not yet known but the Itali𒆙an, currently fifth 🌄in the world championship, has been ruled out of the forthcoming Misano round.

Also ab🌞sent will be TSR's Tetsuta Nagashima, who suffered a broken right leg - plus other injuries - on Saturday at Silverstone.
