Queen's Birthday Honour for Casey Stoner
Former double MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner has🐟 been appointed a 'Member of the Order of Australia (AM)' in tꦜhe Queen's Birthday honours.
The Australian♛, who retired from MotoGP at the end of last season, received the honour "For significant service to motorcycle racing".
Stoner was a full time grand prix rider from 2002-2012, claiming 38 of his 45 vi💃ctories in the premier MotoGP class, where he won world titles for Ducati (2007) and Honda (2011).
The 27-year-old has now tur𝓀ned his attention to V8 touring car raci๊ng.
