TeamVodafone's Winton race-winning car #888, which was required to undergo an intensive, six-hour fu❀ll scrutineering inspection by V8 Supercars Australia personnel, has been officially released after passing every aspect of the process.

The routine inspection was carried out at the team's Brisbane workshop on Tuesday, where the car of Craig Lowndes was made available to officials in its original state following the cಌonclusion of race six on Sunday afternoon.

Despite confusion amongst other V8 Supercar teams, the post-race scr🍸utineering procedure was not prompted by any pre-race scrutineering activities, wiꦓth the car being selected for the intensive inspection as a normal part of a season long process that will involve other teams and cars all year.

"Over the past five years our cars have been very thoroughly scrutinised, as a direct result of 🔜winning more events than any other team," team boss Roland Dane said. "The recent comments by some competitors designed to imply to the media that TeamVodafone has used illegal parts on its cars are without any foundation and are simply made to distract atꦺtention from their own results.

"It is also pleasing to note that a number of other teams have made i🧸t clear to Triple Eight that they do♕ not attach any credibility to the spurious comments that have been made by some."
