Alain Menu will start the firs🐲t World Touring Car race of the weekend at Estoril from last position after he failed technical scrutineering following qualifying.

The Swiss ♓driver had qualified in third ꧂place, but was stripped of his times when it was discovered his on-board fire extinguisher was empty.

As a result, he will be forced to start last, alongside James Thompson, meaning JOrdi Gene wᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚill start third, ahead of Rob Huff in fourth, Andy Priaulx in fifth and Augusto Farfus in sixth.
