The Rally of Turkey has revealed its entry list for round two of🌼 the Intercontinental Rally Challenge [IRC], which takes place next weekend.

The #1 car will be the Abarth of Andrea Navarra and Guido d'Amore, which won the IRC classification of the Safari Rally, back in March. They will be followed off the start ramp by former European champion💟 Renato Travaglia, driving a Group N Mitsubishi Lancer run by Italian team Top Run.

Turkey will also see the debut of the Peu🌞geot Spain team on the IRC, with a driver line-up consisting of multiple mountain bike champion Nicolas Vouilloz from France, as well as up-and-coꦬming Spaniard Enrique Ojeda.

Anton Alen meanwhile, son of rally legenꦓd Markku Alen, will make his debut in the second Abarth Grande Punto. Markk𓂃u drove for Fiat and Lancia for more than 15 years, so Alen's debut will be an emotional moment for father and son.

"I'm really looking forward to competing in my first rally with the Grande Punto, but I'm sure it won't be easy," said Anton. "I've been mainly used to driving a Group N car so far in my career and the Grande Punto is clearly a lot more sophisticated, with many things to l🐓earn. It's nice that my father has driven for Fiat for so long, so it's good history for us. It feels a bit like coming home!"

The Rally of Turkey is based in the recently opened Bulent Ecevit Kartal Cultural Centre, while the service Park, which is on the coastal road🌳, will be 🌺located in the Pendik Sabit Pazar area.

The rally will get underway with a c🌃eremonial start on Friday May 11 in the famous Sultanahmet Square, in the historic centre of Istanbul. After returning to the service park by ferry across the Bosphorus, the crews will go head-to-head on the new spectator superspecial stage: a specially constructed a𝕴sphalt circuit next to the service park.

On the second day of the event, competitors will tackle the demanding gravel stages of the Sile region🍸 of Istanbul, before a repeat of the superspecial in the evening. On Sunday, the drivers will face some challenging stages around the neighbouring town of Kocaeli, before returning to Istanbul for the finish in front of Rally HQ.
