Pons gets OK to re-start.

Kronos Citroen third driver, Xavier Pons will be able to re-start the Rallye Deuts𓆉chland, the ninth round in the 2006 FIA World Rally Championship, under the Sup🌃eRally format on Sunday.

Pons has had a difficult event thus far and was slowed by suspension damage in Panzerplatte 1 [SS10], after he clipped a rock on a left-hand bend. Worse was to come though and he had to call it a day following SS12, after he had a problem൩ with the gearshift in the middle loop.

Up until then he had been running just outside the top ten, however having missed the final three stages he pi🎉cked up 15 minutes worth of penalties💝 and will re-start from 19th place - over 20 minutes off his Kronos Citroen team-mates, Sebastien Loeb and Dani Sordo, who are running in first and second.

"Up to now, it's really been a rally to forget for me," he said philosophically. "Tomorrow we will start again in order to try and finish this rally on a positive note by setting some quick ꧋times."
