MotoGP star Max Biaggi was a surprise addition to Midland MF1's testing roster, the Italian joining the team at a damp and wintry Silverstone to get his first taste of Formula One since running with Ferrari a 𒊎few years ago.

Biaggi is currently 'b🌳etween jobs', with speculation linking him to a ride in the World Superbike Championship, but he was determined to make the most of his F1 outing, despite the weather and Midland's 'real' testing programme limiting him to just a couple of short runs.
