Jarno Trulli may have racke♊d up his fifth top five finish in as many races at the😼 Spanish Grand Prix, but there was another hot streak that grabbed the Italian's attention during the event.

Executing his first pit-stop in the 66-lap race, Trulli was alarmed to find flames filling his rear view mirrors as he p🔯ulled away. Fuel had escaped from the hose as it uncoupled from the car, briefly catching light on the Toyota's hot exhausts. Quick action by the team quelled the initial blaze, while the final flic🌠kers of flame were finally extinguished as Trulli rolled off down the pit-lane.

The probl🎃em did not🌃 appear to faze the Italian, who completed a second, more routine, stop before fending off Toyota team-mate Ralf Schumacher on his way to a third podium of the season.

"When I saw the fire at the back of the car, I just said [to myself] I will pull away and go because I wanted to try my best," Trulli revealed later, "I was fighting and fighting for the podium, and there was noꦓthing in my mind which could stop me at that stage."
