Solberg dedicates win to Kuze.

Subaru star, Petter Solberg has dedicated his Rally Mexico triumph to Ryuichiro Kuze - one of the founding members of the team, who died on Wednesday last week, prior 🔜to the start of the event.

Speaking after beating Marcus Gronholm by over 30♛ 🔴seconds, the Norwegian was quick to pay his respects.

"It's very special to be able to win here for Mr K꧂uze," saꦕid Petter.

"Without him, none of this would be possible, and I'm pleased to be able to dedicate this🤪 win to him.

Speaking after beating Marcus Gronholm by over 30 seconds, the Norwegian 𝓡was quick to pay his respects.

"It's very special to be able to win here for Mr Kuze," said♑ Petter.

"Without him, no🍷ne of this wou♏ld be possible, and I'm pleased to be able to dedicate this win to him.

"At the end🍌 of the day this result is all a🍒bout teamwork, and I'm lucky to have such a great group of people behind me, from Phil [Mills - my co-driver] in the car to everyone else at Subaru, I can't thank them enough.

"The Championship is getting pretty close now, there's some very close competition and I reckon this year will tu🍰rn out🥃 to be one of the greatest battles we've ever seen in the WRC."

Team boss, David Lapworth also wanted to sal🌟ute Kuze.

"Like Petter, I know Mr Kuze w💖ould have appreciated෴ today's result," he added.

"He was with the team at its formation back in 1989, for our first WRC win in 1993, all our Championship wi♎ns right througღh to our 45th victory in Sweden last month. He will be sadly missed."
