Ricky Carmichael kept his perfect season intact by winning round seven of the 250cc AMA Motocross Championship, the last to be held at Kenworthy's Motocross Pa✱rk before it is replaced with a🎃 round near Denver next year.
The 24-year-old Honda rider passed Chad Reed early in moto one, then led every lap of moto two. Supercross specialist Reed🀅 had been predicted to provide a tough test for RC due to the obstacle st𝐆rewn Kenworthy layout, but it simply never happened.

"This was supposed to be the track that Reed was going to challenge me," said Carmichael, who leads Reed by 54 points in the series standings. "It's sad that this is the last race on this track. I have a lot of good ౠmemories racing here over the years."
Reed led the first two laps of moto one, much to the delight of the Troy crowd, anꦯd went on to take second overall with 2-2 moto finishes.
"We made progress today," claimed Reed. "It felt good to leadꦆ a moto. The track was in great shape. I'm hoping to build on this and try to keep Ricky from having another perꦫfect season. For sure it's not going to be easy."
Honda rider Kevin Windham completed the podium ꦇwith ෴3-3 results.
Meanwhile, in the 125cc class, James Stewart produced another dominating performance to win both motos by huge margin꧋s. The Kawasaki star now has 23-career AMA 125cc Motocross wins and is third on the❀ all-time wins list.
Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Matt Walker took second overall behind Stewart with 3-3 finishes, while Josh Grant took second iওn race one on his way to third overall. Fellow Honda rider Nate Ramsey finished second in the final moto for fourth.
The series moves to Washougal next week.
