No problems anticipated for Weymouth.
Conference League co-ordinator Peter Morrish believes Weymouth will be accepted into the competition next year. Morrish, whꦫo is the administrator of speedway's third tier, has heard nothing but good reports about the Wildcats from referees, visiting riders and promoters.
And he feels Weymouth chairman Brian White'⛄s applic🐈ation to join the amateur Conference set up in 2004 will be "rubberstamped" at its annual meeting in January. White ran six meetings on an open licence at the Wessex Stadium this year after taking speedway back to Radipole Lane for the first time since 1984.

Following their success, he has applied to the BSPA for a full licence to enter all of the Conference's competitions next term - the League, Knockout Cup and Trophy. Morrish said: "I want more stand alone tඣracks like Weymouth which is really the way the league should be going. I can't see anyone objecting to Weymouth being voted in because I would have thought they meet all the criteria."
"Unfortunately, I didn't get to Dorset to see them this year but I hope to early next season. I think most people who did go to Weym🃏outh are quite happy with what Brian has achieved and done so far. January 1 will 👍probably be the date when we have to have all applications in for next season and Brian has already applied."
"Then we have another meeting early in January at the BSPA offices in Rugby 🌌to decide which competitions we will run and which tracks will be in them and Brian will be invited to that. The final dec꧒ision is up to the BSPA but I would have thought Weymouth's application will be rubberstamped then."
"I hope it comes off because they are one of the stand alone tracks that we need. There are others in the pipeline and 🐼I hope w꧙e get more applications from stand alone tracks."
