All change at Hawk: Haydon in, Hickman out.
Peter Hickman has parted company with Hawk Colchester Kawasaki in 🍌the British Superbike Ch꧋ampionship in a move that sees the return of James Haydon to the BSB fold.
Series sophomore Hickman - who first rode for Hawk back in 2003 - has endured a disappointing start to the 2007 campaign, with three 🌺𒀰twelfth-place finishes his best results on the ZX10-R while team-mate Scott Smart lies some five spots and 37 points higher in the title standings. In light of this, a "mutual and amicable decision" has been taken for team and rider to go their separate ways.

Following a successful test at Mallory Park last week, meanwhile, Haydon will make his Hawk Kawasaki BSB debut at Cadwell Park a fortnight later. The eleven-time BSB race-wi🍃nner himself split from Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha earlier this year, and will remain alongside Smart at Hawk for the remainder of the current campaign.
